Underdogs compiles three novels:  The Underdog, Fighting Ruben Wolfe,  and Getting The Girl. These three books began the publishing career of Markus Zusak, author of The Book Thief. For the first time, this volume gives American readers a chance to read The Underdog which was previously unavailable in the States.  If you caught my The Time Will Come post, you’ll understand why The Messenger will have to wait a bit longer.  I want to start at the beginning!
What are you waiting on?

I've read both Fighting Ruben Wolfe and Getting the Girl and loved them. I glad to see these books are re-released in a bind-up so more people can know can know about these great books!

@Actin' Up with Books Thanks for the follow! Cool that you've read two of the books in the series! These titles had basically disappeared from stores (besides online, maybe), so this release was definitely needed. Will you go back and read the first novel now that it's available?

@Dawn Some how your comment back to me got lsot, anuway, yes I would go back and read Underdog, but I don't think I will buy the new bind up just to read it. I'm thinking about doing a post about brother in ya list – if I do, these books will be included for sure.

I've enjoyed reading all three titles at once. I'm still finishing the last one now. Been a busy week or so for me, so the reading is going slower than I'd like. Had fun on Twitter with Markus Zusak! 🙂 The Wolfe brothers should definitely be included on a brothers in YA Lit list!
