The Week in Reviews: ReadLove Recap For the Week Beginning September 1st

Another week has come and gone here at ReadLove ! Here’s what you may have missed!

This week has everything from biblical parables to prehistoric cavemen! We began the week with a DVD review of A Long Way Off, a modern retelling of the Parable of the Prodigal Son. Meanwhile, on Kids Corner, book reviews and features teem with myth, magic, mystery, and adventure. Our first stop is Price Island, the bizarre setting of Pseudonymous Bosch’s Bad Magic. Next, we host David Zeltser’s Lug, Dawn of the Ice Age blog tour, where David contributes a guest post and offers a free signed copy of his book. Finally, I take a break from my reading of Atlantis Rising — which promises to reveal the creation story of the legendary lost civilization of Atlantis — to tell you how to get a free prequel from T. A. Barron.
